Yoghurts & Desserts made with waterbuffalo milk

Everyone is familiar with mozzarella or burrata di buffala, which is made from water buffalo milk and has a more flavourful, creamy and rich taste than mozzarella made from cow's milk.
Italian manufacturer San Salvatore has developed a range of yoghurts and desserts made from water buffalo milk and is now the market leader in the Italian retail (Esselunga, Eataly, Carrefour) dairy section with this type of product.
Last year, this manufacturer won the prestigious Italian Cheese Award for “most innovative milk-derived product”. Full vertical integration, clean label positioning, sustainable & premium packaging make these products absolutely distinctive in terms of concept and quality. Worldwide, this is even the only range of desserts based on water buffalo milk.

The unique selling points of water buffalo milk compared to traditional cow's milk are:
higher protein, mineral and vitamin content, easier to digest (less lactose and lower cholesterol) and a richer flavour (fuller and creamier)... in short, a tastier and more nutritious alternative to traditional cow's milk products.
