Food For Freedom is a family business in Maldegem and Ruddervoorde (Belgium), which has been a fixture in the world of organic meat substitutes since 1983. It all started with the production of tempeh, a meat substitute for every meal.

Convinced of the numerous benefits of vegan and vegetarian food, the range was quickly expanded to include seitan, tofu, and more recently products based on lupine and hemp. Today we make more than 40 different vegetarian delicacies, including salads, spreads and burgers.

Food For Freedom is 100% organic, and we believe a transparent and safe food chain is absolutely essential. Organic stands for a natural approach, from the cultivation of the raw materials to the packaged end products for the consumer. No artificial aids, no genetic modification.
