From a small butcher’s shop to a recognised producer
When you say Ghent, you say Ganda Ham. Of course, this hasn’t always been the case. Back in the 1950s, Roger Cornelis and Maria Mattheeuws started out modestly with a small butcher’s shop. The couple devoted all their patience and love to perfecting the flavour of what would later become the now-renowned ham.
Sixty years later, the Cornelis family is already in its third generation, with many more people working with the same passion to continue the success story of Ganda Ham.
