Fermentistas Klejman – The Healthy Power of Fermented Vegetables
Fermentistas Klejman, founded by sisters Marta and Joanna, is a Belgian producer of artisanal fermented vegetables. Drawing on their Polish roots and their background as dietitians, they bring traditional fermentation back into the modern kitchen.
Their assortment includes pure, raw, and unpasteurized products such as kimchi, fermented red cabbage, white cabbage with pineapple, and fermented beet juice. Everything is carefully prepared without preservatives, flavor enhancers, or colorings. Thanks to the presence of live lactic acid bacteria, these products are a natural source of probiotics and fibers, supporting a balanced gut microbiome and a stronger immune system.
In addition to production, Marta and Joanna share their expertise and passion through workshops, events, and publications. In 2025, they also published their first book “Fermentista – The Healthy Power of Fermented Vegetables” (Lannoo Publishers), featuring 60 recipes alongside their personal story. Their mission is clear: to inspire everyone to discover the taste and the health benefits of fermented foods.
